Whilst chatting with the locals, we found ourselves getting tips on great places to visit. One nice lady told us about the Eumendi markets. Taking a bus would be over an hour so we put this visit off until we had the car. This market was sprawling with over 600 stalls selling crafts, jewelry, fruits and veg stalls, ready made foods, clothing, art, musicians and more. We arrived around 11:30 and were still there at 2 when it shuts down. It was so large that we were still winding our way through and had not seen everything. We did stop off at the bakery for some lunch but that was a quick stop. There were visitors from all over and we heard a half dozen other languages spoken. After that we stopped at the Ginger Factory which was a gift shop, some food stalls, a small garden and a train. Entrance was free and we walked the garden path but the thunder was booming off in the distance. We bought a few things ginger related but when it started raining we called it a day.
