I contacted a birder, Rus Lamb, on BirdingPals. We was available to take me out to local hotspots and all I had to do is give him gas money. We arranged the date and time and at 7:30 I was outside ready to head out. Our first spot was along Finland Road, named for the Finns that settled in this area. We next headed to Yandina Creek area, had lunch and then went to Parklakes. a great day with 11 new birds to add to my list which in unofficially around 871.
