We drove from Puerto Banus to Seville in under 3 hours. The drive was smooth and mostly highway driving. It was a rugged landscape at first with many tunnels and viaduct style bridges. We pulled into town, drove past the AirBnB and then went to the Triana Market. Parking was tight but the market was great. We got food and also sat down for some lunch. Tiny sole like acedia fish and grilled veggies were superb. By the time we were done we could get in to our place. We could not find street parking so I pulled onto the side walk blocking a driveway and we unloaded. We are on the 1st floor which means the floor above the ground floor. Then we drove to a 24 hour parking garage and left the car. We had a nice stroll back to the place and got settled in. We ate the leftover soup that we took to eat while on the road and then we ventured out and wandered. We saw nice buildings, a scented park and some specialty stores. The entire town is scented with the blooms of the orange trees! We stopped in the tea shop, the wine and spirits shop and a artisanal textile shop. We got tea, wine and gin but no textiles. We had a plate of tapas for dinner and called it a night.
So many tiny jars left over from our tapas time
At the rest stop we saw this on the hill
Just inside Seville and looking for our place
Parking here is tight!
The market is always a good place to start
Yes they have olives in Spain
Huevos for breakfast
For the little ones
For the pork lovers
Getting every last bit off of this leg
A row of whole leg jamon
The little pig as an angel is a bit odd
Here are the OP, original piggies
A bite of tasty acedias fish, a small sole fish
Our lunch spot
They had lots of paella but we just got a snack of fish and grilled veggies
Our stay for the next four nights
Reflected off of the roof of a car
The bullfighting ring is just down the street
The cathedral off in the distance
A artists group is selling goodies inside
A fun layout of the building
Ceramic chess set
The inside is open with ample light
Torro!
We were low on tea filters
We had to try a new tea
Our new tea buddy Antonio
The carriages were out and loving the weather
Fancy Moorish lamps
We will have to get on these trams
The elaborate architecture in the center of town
Wow!
The Moors have left their mark
Round windows
Old world charm
We sat in this park luxuriating in the smell of the orange blossoms
The orange trees were covered in blooms
Hail to the smell of the orange blossoms
Sparrow as pollinator
Red ringed parakeet
None shall enter these strong doors
Finally finials
We stopped into a textile shop but did not shop
