22 March 2023 Seville: Alcazar Gardens

 


While the structures of the Alcazar have been changed extensively, the gardens have stayed remarkably the same.  Some hedges have been trimmed to look like gates, some are cylinders and some are spheres.  There were fountains and ponds with ducks.  Lots of formal pathways and some different small buildings scattered amongst the greenery.  We stopped and had a snack in some deep shade and then continued to explore.
