28 February 2023 Puerto Banus: Settled in and Exploring Further Afield

The sculpture above is named "Rhinoceros Dressed in Lace".  It is by Salvador Dali and is based off of a woodcut he saw as a child.  The woodcut was by Albrecht Durer who made it in 1515.  The rhino horn is masculine and the lace is feminine and the combination gives the rhino balance.  We passed the rhino a couple of times and I was able to get different angles.  We are in a groove and know where the groceries are.  We bought a rolling cart to carry all the stuff we are buying.  Dinner has been at our place every night so far.  We have had sausages, chicken soup, pan fried chicken, hamburgers, shrimp, fish tacos, and pork chops.  In addition we have taken up tapas for two.  So far we have had anchovies three different ways, four kinds of caviar, five kinds of cheese, three kinds of olives, two kinds of salami, langoustine shrimps and four different kinds of Iberian ham.  Life is good!

Flags line the walkway and this one is the flag of Cyprus.  We have been planning our visit to Cyprus next December so it was fun to see this flag
