6 March 2023 Puerto Banus: A Monday at the Market

As we found out last Sunday, the stores are closed on Sundays here.  So we had a mixed bag of leftovers for dinner on Sunday and hit the Aldi first thing Monday afternoon.  We took our time and got out the phone translator app several times.  We occasionally blocked other shoppers so we had to get out of their way while we were piecing together some food based mystery.  The picture above was taken from a cheese package.  Of course once we figured that this picture meant that the cheese was made from cow, goat and sheep milk, it made shopping easier.  We saw pictures of orange carrots, blue rabbits, purple turkeys, yellow chickens, pink pigs, red cows and green leaves.  Sometimes the color of the animal matched the meat and other times it did not. The carrot and leaf pictures were on the alternative burger packaging.   We got back and unloaded all of our goodies and then the rain started.  It rained the rest of the day and into the evening so we got back to planning.
