The White Horse Pub was our rendezvous point to meet up with Mike and Deb. Their ship docked in the early hours of the morning and they went off to Canterbury for an excursion. We had a lazy morning drinking tea and listening to the wind outside. The White Horse Pub was a delightful mix of two old residential buildings that used to be apart from the pub but have been repurposed into dining space. We had reservations which got a fine table in the back by a window. We talked and ate for almost three hours. It was cozy and warm and we could really just sit and have a conversation. That is what being in a pub is all about!
