Brighton Beach in the UK is famous for its beaches and amusement ride filled piers. We left Dover cloudy, cold and windy to arrive in Brighton sunny warm, but still a bit windy. Out place was not quite ready but we schlepped everything up 45 stairs and popped off for lunch. The combo grill proved too much for the two of us and we ate the remainder for dinner. We walked up the way a bit after dinner and saw where the promenade was being renovated
Rolling green hills on the 2 hour ride to Brighton
A large spiral staircase up the launch point of the zip line
Looking out from our window we can see the pier and the roof of the arcade
Looking back we see out house and a fancy elevated promenade of old
People were actually in the water so the Lifeguard was occupied
A stop for lunch at Harvest while we wait for the place to be ready
Good thing we decided to split the mixed grill.

The former pier
Carousel and the walkway already redone
The starlings roost here in the fall and make quite the impressive flight formations called murmurations

If the zip line rider is too light the crew had to grab them with a pole
If it goes right they make it all the way
The landing area looks like a boat
The pier is large and impressive
Raised high up off of the water
