After the great sunset last night we decided to go to Vouliagmeni Beach. Lots of folks had the same idea as we did. It was 5 Euro each to get in but that came with beach chairs and umbrellas. The umbrellas did not stop any of the sun but it was not needed as the temperature was only in the mid 70's. We sat in the loungers for a bit watching the sailboarders, swimmers and water skiers. There was an odd sound that was hard to place. It sounded like horse hoofs on pavement but that was impossible. We finally figured out that there were two dozen or more serious paddle ball matches going on. All the smacking of the balls made this sound. We walked down to the end of the beach and then headed back. Saw some fun birds and got some tasty snacks while we were out. A fine Sunday all in all.
Intense red colors
Many layers of clouds
A fine end to the 11th
Late in the day for surfing
So red

Made it to the beach
A statue commemorating the 2004 Olympic triathlon held here

Some umbrellas are less efficient than others in blocking the light
Beginner sailboarders perhaps taking lessons
Cat lady goes for a swim, she had double barrel snorkels
You can see both snorkel tubes
Packed together
Lots of paddle ball being played
Very serious about this sport
Caviar?
Or vodka?
Hey there El Gato
We looked back at our place
Hot glass once existed here
Rose ringed parakeets
Screeching as usual
Hooded crow
The red fruit of the palms must be tasty
But not as tasty as the bits at the bakery
