We had rain in the morning but it stopped so I headed out to work these old legs. It was a total of 4.5 miles of walking and I tried to keep up a fast pace. There were some parakeets on the way and construction as well. A big building is going up at the port / marina. Along the road I had to skirt around where they were making a ditch for what looked like power lines. There were birds but nothing new, just magpies, ringed doves, sparrows, black redstart, yellow legged gulls and a cormorant. The end of the road was the end of the land. Time to turn around and rejoin my sweetie pie. We spent the afternoon making more travel plans and actually called the Toronto AirBnB host to get our stay extended. He said it would be fine so now we are waiting to see it pop on the computer. All the cats ion the neighborhood have heard about the goodies that can be obtained from outside our sliding doors. Now we have Stubby Mustache Man, Mudface, Slippers Old Grey Hair and a new cat awaiting a nickname
Ringed neck parakeet
Great plumage
The big boat has returned
Magpie
Cormorant
Black redstart
Getting to the end of the spit of land
Sparrows
Yellow Legged Gull
Not a person in sight
But wait...is this a makeshift shelter?
Old fortifications?
End of the road
Seagull on the edge
The Sunken lake is over on that side of the bay
Splashing waves
This is as close as I am going to get
A large ridge of rock jutting out into the sea
The trail was not great
Looking back into the bay
A long drop down
Another odd looking cave / shelter
Not mush of a shrine, just a few walls left
Up on the foils
Under this green graffiti was a Nazi graffiti just last week
The path
Mr Mustache
Stubbs!
The sunset is once again superb
Extending way up above the horizon
Deep crimson
The sun is down
