We took a few days to just relax. Travel planning, shopping and wash took up some time of that time. Reading, movies and cooking took up more of that time. We discovered a great supermarket AB up at the end of the line for the metro. We jumped into a taxi and drove up there on our rainy Saturday Walking around town when it was nice and relaxing while it rained outside took up the rest. The sun was out today so I hit the trail that I discovered last week. I walked to the municipal cemetery while Leslie danced the Zumba. The cemetery was nicely kept up and had some real extravagant graves. Not such a great birding event but great to get out and stretch the legs.
Home for wildlife?
Getting up in the altitude
Scrub land
Looking back tot he south
I found a road!
Sail boats are back out in the bay
Love the blue water
The chapel at the cemetery
Nice belltower
Is there an undead that has escaped?
The folks are tightly packed
Every grave is kept up nicely
Bigger crypts along this walkway
Pine trees are growing in the cemetery
A marble statue
Folks climbing on a water tank
The water tank is up on the ridge
Not sure what to make of this, older markers or markers getting some maintenance
A glass door with a mirrored cross inside
Humber gate to a crypt
An entire Egyptian theme, sphynx, pyramid and obelisk
Still growing
A half round crypt
An ode to Great Britain, "this blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England"
The gate tot he belltower
A tree eating bush
Rows of cypress heading down hill
Bougainvillea
I was lucky to escape the apex ambush predator
Sliver me timbers
My zoom is still working fine
Rocking robin
Singing his lovely song
Yet another magnificent sunset
Liquid gold
Goodnight Greece
Till tomorrow
