We took the 122 bus south for 35 minutes driving along the coast and enjoying this fine day. The bus dropped us off at Mojito Bay. This bay has seen better days and there were only a few folks laying in the sun. We took a look and then took the bus back to Varkiza for some tasty lunch and a trip to the market. Our lunch was very good but interrupted by a man with a concrete saw. We scoped out two different markets and chose the Deli / Market combo. That was the better choice of the two and we got everything we needed. We even saw a few frozen turkeys that tempted us.
Stubby has got it made!
Heading out of Vouliagmeni bay
The big yacht is no longer docked
The water is so blue
Small inlets here and there with someone swimming almost everytime
Varkiza on the horizon
One vary large sailboat
Mojito Bay is a bay better passed
THhs landscape reminds us of Spain
Not crowded
A sun bather!
Odd graffiti
Spiky seed pods
Varkiza, we have returned
This is taking bull-acrobatics too far
A cozy restaurant by the water
Fish fishy
Right by the marina
So many shades of blue
A local brew
Fish roe salad, Greek salad, wild greens from the seaside and fried tiny squids
Extra Squigglys!
Another intense sunset
More beautiful by the minute
Wowzers!
