Our excursion into the Humber Bay Park was a birding bonus as the above picture illustrates. It was a bird-dense area with a couple of life birds, the trumpeter swan seen above and the red necked merganser. The park is getting renovated with stabilization to the shore line and reworking the paths so the park is segmented into different areas. Since we did not know where we were going we just wandered about and that worked just fine for us. It was a great stroll and the weather was almost hot when in the direct sunlight
