We spent the day unpacking, doing wash and other boring domestic activities. Once we accomplished the tasks, we made a picnic and went out and celebrated Toronto. We walked down to waterfront area and sat on a few park benches for a couple of hours devouring olives, cheeses, Gin and Teases along the way. The dog parade started at 5 PM and peaked about 6:00. At one point there could have seen 15 dogs in a sweep of the area. We got to pet dogs, compliment them on their way by and enjoy the funny ways they walk. In the case of Abbie, Leslie got a full dog therapy session. Abbie, the dog, pulled Debbie, the dog walker, over to us. We got to talking and before you know it we had Debbie's whole life story and the story of her adopting Abbie the ADHD dog. She was a talker for sure. But for as long as she talked, Leslie got to rub Abbies ears and head. We were out watching the dog parade and having this progressive happy hour over couple of hours and could have sat there for another hour. Hunger reminded us that we had our favorite dinner, a whole chicken, waiting to go in the oven back at the place.
