Since the eastern part of the park in under major construction we decided to visit the western side. We made it out to a point of sorts where there was a park bench just waiting for us. We watched the jet skis, paddle boards, sailboats and birdlife from this bench and three or four others throughout the park. then we took the trolly all the way to the roundabout where we disembarked. Four firetrucks passed us by while we were waiting for the trolly and we started to worry if it was going to show up. We only had a balance of twenty cents so we had to recharge our cards, get the dry cleaning and some tasty bread. Olive loaf sliced for us fresh. The mushroom tapenade worked wonders on this bread. We have continued with our after dinner stroll and we saw the skyline all lit up. It was lit, as the kids say.
