25 August 2024 Toronto; Reid's Distillery and Music Garden Concert

We booked a "Gin Tea" at Reid's Distillery.  We had to prepay and so we made sure they knew who we were when we entered but we did not check what we had already paid for. There was an intention to buy some gin at the distillery and we did not want to get the three bottle sample box so we ordered the sample flight instead.  Unfortunately we had pre-ordered the Gin-Tea infusions as well.   The infusion came out in a tea pot and was served in a tea cup with ice in the bottom.  It was a Citrus Gin and Verbena tea infusion mixed into a purple cocktail.  Reed is the man that greeted us and we kept up our discussion with him throughout our visit.  As the tea was coming to a close when he told us that he always wanted to serve up a flight of the gin infusions.  So that is just what he did.  All three mixes were served up to our delight.  Citrus Gin and Verbena Tea, London Gin and Earl Grey and Spiced Gin and Chai Tea.  As we have said before weeee!  Then we went to Loblaws to look for a very specific type of Bagel for Mike and Deb. We were sorry to report that the Bagels were not available.  Then it was off to one of the most unique concerts that we have ever been to.  There were four or five seta of Marimbas and Xylophones plus a set of conga drums and a drum set.  A very extra ordinary experience shared with quite a crowd in the music Garden.  We discovered the free concerts here two years ago.
