What a busy busy day. First we walked down 5th avenue gawking and meandering. We were early to the location so we went into Tiffany's where we saw Ellen DeGeneres and Portia. I got to ask Ellen how she was doing and said that she seemed relaxed and retirement looked good on her. Then we went to Bergdorf Goodman where the docent told us that they had been in that location since 1920. It seemed odd that the store had a guide / docent but when your store is a landmark... We headed up to the 6th floor where the restaurant was located. This visually striking setting was a pure delight. Laura ordered the breakfast themed tea and Lily the traditional afternoon tea. Leslie ordered some big scallops, Susan ordered a sea bass and I got a truffle and mushroom ravioli. Our waitress was from Montenegro so we got to talk to her about it. She gave us her email so we could get a Montenegro contact for a long tern stay. Then we stuck our heads into St Patrick's cathedral, Up to the top of the Rock after the church. Thanks to Leslie we had the express pass and did not have to stand in line. The top of the Rock was hot and the sun was beating down on us. We headed back to pick up the pass port and we re-grouped at Sardis for dinner. The walk to the next show was about 8 blocks and it was raining on us as we went along. We huffed and puffed to get to the show but the evaporating rain made it cold on the wet parts. It was a fun show and the sets and costumes really made it special.
