It appears that a giant mozzie is on the moon. Mozzie is what the Australians call mosquitoes but luckily they are not flying around in the winter months. We soaked in the hot tub till it was getting too chilly with our heads a bit damp. Leslie went downstairs first to shower and warm up but I stayed upstairs waiting for the full moon to rise. I know that it always rises at sunset when it is full but that is not an exact science. Rising exactly at sunset only happens at one point on the earth and everywhere else it is a bit earlier or later. I turns out that I had quite some time to wait and eventually had to go downstairs to warm up a too. It finally came out and I got the ruddy color that it has at the moonrise. While I was waiting I saw a Australian pelican fly by and another kayak scramble. This time they were closer to shore and I could see that these were high end kayaks and serious athletes paddling. Great fun!
Go kayaks go!
Very fancy ocean kayaks
They are returning

Pellican
Graceful
The lighthouse rising above the bright blue water
Some fine apartments behind ours
Not the moon!
The light is extra special
Blue faced honeyeater
The water had turned from bright blue to pink
Windswapt
Popping
The tree is in the way
But it makes for a good shot
Holding up the moon
