10 October 2025 Barcelona: More Barcelona, More Gaudi, More Disco

Another Gaudi building to explore and this one comes with a concert at the end of the tour.  We had Omar's yummy bean soup before heading out.  Earlier wandered by the cathedral and the older part of old town. Casa Batllo had normal lighting but that soon changed into some sort of nightclub lighting with blue and red spotlights.  We all got a glass of champagne and continued om the tour.  When we eventually reached the top floor we were seated along the edge of the roof.  It was a tad chilly and we were tankful for our extra layers.  The concert had been describes ad Jazz, Soul, R&B and Disco.  This description was true to the show and we enjoyed hits like "Killing Me Softly," "The Last Dance," "Wonderwall" and much more. She was generous with the microphone and allowed audience members to sing.  Several folks were quite good and some were just plain awful.  The man next to me was so tone deaf that I leaned in to help out.  Audrey quickly switched over to me and when I was done there was a smattering of applause for me!  The show lasted an hour and we sang along, danced a bit and had a fun fun time.  Before we could exit fully we spent time in the Gaudi Cube for a light show!  Tis was a large room with projected images on the walls.  Quite a trippy experience.
