We finished with the museum and headed over to our lunch reservation. It was at Le Petit Jardin, a Michelin starred restaurant. It was very elegant and a delightful space. We loved looking out at the outdoor garden seating area and imagining the Spanish day that the other patrons were having. After lunch we walked through the nearby botanical gardens. The day was heating up and the early fall blooms were dispersed in the park. Two or three classrooms of kids were learning by experiencing the park. We liked that they were given 3 x 5 index cards with a sticky strip. The kids could collect leaves, berries, flowers and such and attached that to the sticky part of the card. After the garden we popped into the nearby cathedral. The impressive entryway led open to a large interior. The time of day worked to throw light through the stained glass and onto the walls of the church. We then regrouped a bit and met again at dinner time. It was a very hip crown having a night out in this square. We had pizzas and wine and good times. We even got to taste gin from Lebanon from the bartender, Elias. He popped out and got the bottle from his nearby apartment.

We met at a funky busy square and had a great dinner
It seems that an American Martini is not a common drink. Leslie now goes directly to the bartender to see to the mixology. In this case, the bartender was quite taken by our Gin Quest. He we clocked out, walked to his nearby house and brought back a bottle of GinBey.
He called Lebanon his home and was so happy to share the gin from his homeland with the Gin Adventurers
