7 October 2025 Montpellier: Our Day Out in Montpellier

 


The plan was to go to the gardens first but the French made us conform to their schedule so we met at the church / museum first.  The exhibit was a sculpture comprised of 10,000 hands suspended from a central tree and also from the ceiling.  It was a hands on exhibit where we could xerox our hands, cut them out and then put them in a box so they can be hung up with the others.  We still had tome to fill before the Gardens opened up so we went to the museum.

This guy showed up in paintings all throughout the museum.  Different artists painted him and we saw him 10 times.
