We have noticed, post pandemic, that many websites as well as google maps, no longer provide accurate information. In St Sebastian alone we had vectored to three places that google said were open, but they longer existed as a businesses. We had researched the best pintxos places and decided on one which was highly recommended. Pintxos are the original tapas, small bites that are a St Sebastian tradition. We went to that place on Monday and they were open, but the kitchen was closed. Hopefully we have better luck on Tuesday. On our way to today's pintxos place, we strolled by the beach. We saw new flower arrangements and we walked past the carousel. We arrived at today's pintxos place and they were closed, it was Tuesday after all. Grrr. Our great friend Kim G told us not to try to plan anything and instead walk around till we find a nice place and then go in. She said if we don't like it then just go to another. She was right and we were frustrated and hungry. We were ready to give up but we are a stubborn pair of Leips. We went into two random places we did not like but then the third random place one was the a great place and finally got our Pintxos! This place was hopping and we were lucky to squeeze in and find a place to sit. We ordered a few off the menu and some from the counter. The hive of activity all around us was intoxicating, or perhaps it was the wine. We ate our fill and then headed to a scenic city train.
