Out outing began at the Fukuoka Art Museum where we wandered through the Japanese Antiquities first and then the four Modern Art galleries. Photos were allowed in the Japanese area but the modern works were not allowed to be photographed. There was a good amount of art outside as well. We then walked through the middle of a substantial lake and stopped to eat our lunches. After swinging around the far side of the lake we wandered over to the wisteria garden which led to the ruins of the old castle which led to the azalea gardens. Wowzers what a selection of blooming plants.
