The train station is only 8 minutes away but finding the exact train platform took almost as long. Half a dozen train lines stop here and then there are the JR trains too. We were looking for a JR train and all the JR trains are lumped together which is why it tool us a bit longer. We had a Progressive Park Picnic planned and we brought pickled cucumbers, pickled eggplant and daikon radish, chicken salad with walnuts and oranges. We ate these items at four different places in the park. That was fun on this wonderful day. It reached 80 degrees but with a low humidity and a nice breeze. We wandered about the park for close to three hours. We saw folks young and old enjoying the park. Lots of birds two lifebirds. While we were there, we decided to take a jaunt through the zoo too.
