Even though it was a rainy day we wanted to get out and buy some concert tickets. The concert is next week and is Beethoven's 9th Symphony Choral Movement! Ode to Joy is going to be fantastic. The tickets were reasonable as well, only 2000 Yen each. The Tokyo Metropolitan Theater is only 500 meters away and it is next to a giant mall. The mall was a great place to wander around on a rainy day. We had a late lunch at a dumpling place and then wandered for hours in the different food stores. There were stores for pastries, stores for pasta, stores of specialty imported items, different liquors and then we hit Tumo! Tobu is the equivalent of Loblaws in Canada, Dierberg's in St Louis and a upscaled Whole Foods in the rest of the US. A fine afternoon followed by a snockkered evening!
