Today started with a walk around the Serpentine. It was 4.25 miles round trip and I saw many different types of birds. Lunch at the house and then we put on out fancy clothes. We joined our Copenhagen friends Jesper and Tina at the Duck and Waffle Restaurant. We originally met them at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival last July. They later invited us over to their house for a typical Danish dinner and boy was it fantastic. We ate hot smoked salmon and drank home-made Elderberry Champagne. They happened to be in London this weekend at same time as we were so we met up on the 40th floor for dinner. While we were asking them about their day they mentioned being in Hyde Park at the Italian Gardens. I looked at the pictures I took earlier in the day at the same place and low and behold there they were! What a lovely coincidence! I did not see them at the time because they were pretty far away and they were not birds.
