12 October 2024 London: MJ and the Circus at Piccadilly Circus

Today was the Big Bird Day on eBird so I popped over the the park and took a few pictures.  I came back for breakfast and tea with my Sweet Pea.  Then  I submitted my bird checklist to eBird.  We put on some fancy clothes and walked to our matinee at the Prince Edward Theater.  We booked "MJ" the Michel Jackson musical about his preparation for the Dangerous Tour.  There were three different Michaels, one at age 11, one in his early 20s and then the iconic white glove Michael.  Lots of great tunes and some incredible dancing made for a wonderful time.  We had a bit of an issue with loud talkers but the finally settled down.  I had been carrying my Japan Center reward card for over an year now and we went there to get some sushi.  With our next visit we will finally have enough stamps to get a free hot entree!  We got two slabs of fish, two containers of fish roe and a box of sushi.  We headed home and had a fine dinner.  The walk was fun as many folks were out and about.  One eye needed to be on the navigation app as London's streets are the furthest from a grid pattern as can be.
