The Cotswold's weather is the Irish weather we had been warned about. So far se have seen rain or mist everyday and mid to low 50's. We are not complaining because we have a wood fired stove in the cottage and a travel hangover from17 days of non-stop tourist mode travel in Ireland. So we have gone to the cheese shop for some local cheese and then back to the cottage to eat it. We went to the Tesco to get our standard whole chicken then back to the cottage and made some chicken soup. We went to a M&S store to buy more firewood then back to the cottage to burn it. Leslie loves a fire and the weather is well suited for it. This is not quite the whole story as we took a few strolls around town to explore and have been getting some travel planning done.
Lets make some chicken soup
Still blooms in the back yard
Welcome sunflowers, but droopy due to lack of water
Sheep street
All of the buildings are made of the same kind of limestone
Follow the mouse
So many cheeses to choose from
Vinegars too
Narrow sidewalks from the olden days
So many cute little shops
The Porch House
Sheep on Sheep Street
A shy sheep at that
Here is a unique building style
A modest church peeking up over the buildings
A bright colored door reminded us of Ireland
Fleece alley! Will be be the ones to be fleeced?
The streets are narrow and at odd angles
Well well, an old well
