After all the folks left, we sat a while and caught our breath. Then we took a walk through the neighborhood and saw big houses, fine gardens and a wire fox terrier! We saw the dog on the porch with his owner and we said hi. We swapped Fox Terrier stories for a while and then the owner said to the dog, go on down and say hi. The dog came down off of his porch and let us give him a scratch and a pet. The Jen R came over and we had dinner. We caught up with her, swapped Fred stories, discussed birding and talked travel. She is going to start work for the Virginia Wine Board so that is an exciting new chapter for her.
