18 May 2023 Windsor: A Fine Day on the Thames

We are upriver from London on the Thames River.  It was the perfect place for us to take a river cruise.  We chose the two hour cruise that took us five miles upriver and back.  We saw so many birds it was amazing.  In addition we saw narrow boats, pleasure boats, bicyclists, joggers, picnickers, rowers, sunbathers, dogs, flowers, flowering trees, historic buildings and much more.  On top of all that we had  prefect weather.

The boat did a 360 degree turn so everyone on the boat had a good look at Windsor Castle

It is protecting London from any attacks from the western side

Windsor is imposing

I would not want to have to be the guy leading the charge on this castle
