It was an early 9 AM flight to Langkawi Island. Taking into account the ride to the airport, processing time and so on, we had our driver pick us up at 7 AM. We had our QR codes to self check in the bags but the conventional check in line was 10 times faster. We will check that line before we try to do it all ourselves next time. The flight was only 35 minutes and before we knew it we were in the Danna lobby getting checked in, Our room was "almost" ready for us so we took the tour of the grounds and we were also treated to a neck and shoulder massage. This was a first and it was delightful. The masseuse knew what treatments were were scheduled for two days hence, quite impressive. The hotel is very open and airy. Tall ceilings, a central courtyard, floral arrangements everywhere and lots of windows make it a very beautiful place.
