All that time on the HOHO wore us our. Even though we brought our own cushions to sit on, we were still a bit beat up. So today was going to be an easy one. We took a walk before we made some family phone calls. We walked along the waters edge, below the promenade, and saw all sorts of things. We saw sculptures, sunbathers, elderly couples, kids, dogs and a water polo game in a seaside pool.
Right out of out place we saw this delightful green wall
This must be a summertime pool
Cat in the cat sanctuary
Baskets with pillows and litter boxes all arounf the shelter
More bright spring flowers
Too chilly for the girls to be out
A large playground up by the promenade
Sports Club!
Spooky spirit of the fishing nets
A kind of spooky swimmer
No sea urchin for you!
The tidal pools are everpresent
Swimmers
Railings to help you get in and out of the water
Our path
Love the colors of the water
A casino in the distance
Fresh paint and old mold
A little shipyard
Another swimmer out there
Flowers are always a nice touch
One tough hombre
Fishing
These advertisements can flip down and become seats
So much fun watching
More whistles from the referees than cheering from the crowd
Maybe crowd is an overstatement
Some sort of seeds in the tree
So much potential
Can you see the grafitti cat?
Adolescents busy reading at the beach
A little bird condo on the other side of the fence
A waterfront watchtower erected in 1656
