We went to the National Community Art Museum and really enjoyed it. The bus ride over to Valletta was a bit much. We had to squeeze through people just onto get on the bus and ride 10 stops before any seats opened up. This is the power of a sunny day after a few rainy days. The museum's core collection came from the Knights of St. John who have been on Malta since the 1500's. Various collectors and philanthropists have added pieces to the collection. We got disoriented in the museum as we were led up stairs and then down again only to climb up more stairs and walk through a walkway suspended over a gallery. Weeee! We got back on the bus and then picked up a few items at the Wellbees our new favorite grocery store. Passing the Kyoto bakery, we were drawn into its yeasty sweet confines.
I finally got a seat but Leslie is still among the throng
