We had our driver pick us up at 1 PM to take us back to Colombo. We said our goodbyes to the breakfast crew. It was a tearful goodbye. This is a reflection of the connections we were able to make with these fantastic folks. We absolutely loved Sri Lanka and all the friendly folks there. The drive to Colombo took 2.5 hours, a bit longer than it should have because we hit several pockets of intense rain. We got the the hotel and had a bite before trying to go to sleep very early. We needed to get so sleep because we were getting up so early.
