20 March 2025 Sliema: A Visit to San Anton Garden

Today we headed off the San Anton Gardens.  These gardens and citrus groves are adjacent to the Presidential Residence.  We had a great time walking among the trees and past the numerous fountains.  An elderly gentleman struck up a conversation with us as he fed cheese curls to the turtles and the birds.  He tried to lure us off to see a very large turtle but we declined.  it was a nice day so we lingered in the garden enjoying the sweet scent of orange blossoms.  we tried to visit villa bologna but we could not get into the Villa.
