16 - 17 August 2022 Toronto: Bits and Pieces

We are in our last week of our stay in Toronto.  I chose the above picture to represent our recent activities, happy construction.  We chose to leave the last week in Toronto wide open.  This was to allow is time to do the things we did not know that we needed to do back in the planning days.   These action items range from the mundane to the exciting.  The mundane tasks include picking up my new orthopedic inserts for my aging feet and the exciting tasks include picking out lodging for our stays next year.  We have a rolling wave of planning and booking places as they become available.  The norm is that properties open up a year in advance.   The best ones can go pretty fast.  We are currently evaluating stays in London and Lisbon with Greece for 2023.  To our surprise some of these regions are opening up earlier than we expected.  Perhaps the policy has changed.  Other than travel preparation we still have new activities going on  in the park  During these two days we have seen some crazed skateboarding, picked up new travel business cards, visited a internet café to print and fax some things, say a strange grouping of sailboats and got some more tasty dumplings.
