5 August 2022 Toronto: Further Afield

We headed all the way out to the Botanical Gardens.  It seemed close, but Toronto is so huge that it just seems close on the map.  Toronto is the 4th largest city in all of North America and that takes some getting used to.  The gardens were delightful and we also enjoyed the ride along the Don Valley.  On the way home we stopped off in the Distillery District.  We were parched so some Flying Monkeys Beer and a Hibiscus Lime Gin is just what we needed.  Then as we walked to the streetcar the public art just went on and on.  A huge spider, a series of painted shapes, a huge heart and a row of de-barked and painted trees

Parched I tell you...parched!

Leslie's beer was called Worlds Away from the Flying Monkey Brewing

So tasty that I asked for a gallon jug of this stiff stuff

It packed a punch.  I asked the bartender about the ingredients and she told me that too much gin spilled in by accident.

Lovely parasol ceiling

Qu water?   Who is behind such a drink?
