We found a great table at the Tin of Sardines with a view of the sea and some protection from the wind. This bar is small, not as small as the WC-Gin Closet in Newcastle. Although it does share some history with the WC as they were both former public restrooms. It is located on the top of a bluff over looking the Sunderland waterfront. A great location and a perfect place for a happy hour. The mozzarella and brisket balls were fantastic and the tempura was also on point. of course it was a gin bar so we got four new gins in the book
Blue Skies but windy
Three workers in stripes, not much "go getting going" on
Nice 3-D feel
It is a series of stickers on the panes of a folding glass partition that is in the fully folded position
The golden scuba Monkey
Climbing up to get the good gin
A respectable collection of gins
Blueberry and Lemon for my GnT
Which gin to choose?
The Octopod!
I would need eight arms to manage all of these bottles
So many to keep track of
Lucky the Lizard is loving it
We took this table when it opened up. We got some shelter from the wind here
Taking the tiny ones for a swim
The Brisket Mozzarella ball is seen here while still spherical on the board and deconstructed on the plate
These rare golden monkeys are quite illuminating
The portal!
Warship
What we used to think of a a regular sized boat
Until we see this huge ship off in the distance
Night falls
