They started early in the day and the contestants start young. Above you can see that the swimmers are not adult sized. These are the World Championship Triathlon races and although they will crown the champion racer of this race all the finishers will gather points towards the word Champion Series. There are also races for unranked athletes, kids and ordinary people too. The races started at an ungodly time in the morning and continued throughout the day. The swimming is best viewed from our AirBnB as we have the extra altitude that lets us see the swimmers and the angle to be able to judge their progress. We watched from up high through our breakfast and tea drinking morning. We even had a spot of lunch before the Elite racers began. The spectators that were out for the ordinary people and the extra cheering for them really helped spur them on.
