27 July 2023 Sunderland: Walking Along the River Wear

While Leslie was dancing Zumba in our living room, I took to the streets and walked a 3.3 mile track along the River Wear.  There was much to discover, ornamental gates, a busy marina, life-birds, art works, ships in port and kids in giant canoes.  It was a fine walk in my new shoes, thanks to Kristine for shipping them to me.  Leslie was still dancing when I got back.  She was able to take a picture of me as I was walking back to the place.
