We started out the day by not starting and laying about in bed instead. We have begun to extricate ourselves from Brisbane as we only a few days left. We have packing to do, organizing all of our new plans and copies that we have made and putting things back the way they were when we got here. We eventually got out onto the river walkway and had a nice brisk walk. There were more folks on the walkway than normally as those new years resolutions were now in effect and they needed to be obeyed. Of course there were cute dogs and birds along the way. When we got back we saw Adrian, our neighbor, and went to wish him a happy new year. He proceeded to invite us to dinner with Lisa his wife. We agreed on Sunday night at 5PM and we offered to bring the bottle of champagne that they had given to us the last time we were there. We also offered to bring dessert. Later that evening we saw a large brown paper scroll sticking out of our gate. On it was a message that we were not to bring a dessert as we were the guests!
The banksia are blooming
What an odd thing to see on this street sign
Muddy river and blustery weather
I resolve to ride my bike more in 2025
A tale of two Frenchies, one pulling the owner forward and one pulling her back
People on the walkway thinned out when we got half way into it
A few spotted doves
A super cute little dog across the river living it up
Where is the darter's head?
There it is
Heading back behind Ms. Short Hair
Leggings, is there a dance class about to start?
Dog butts
We will be bringing the champagne
