After breakfast I took a little hike down the railroad tracks, no new birds, but I got an offer for some free lunch. The offer came from three workers sitting in the shade of a large tree. I was looking at a flycatcher and a bulbul when they offered me lunch and told me to sit with them. I declined and headed back to the room to enjoy the lunch that we made for ourselves at the breakfast buffet. After lunch we headed back out to the north point and attempted to renew our vows on camera. It took several tries until we got it right. Either I was saying phrases that were Leslie's lines to say or I was saying then too humorously and she would crack up laughing. It was getting hot as the breeze we had the day before was absent. We took the Bula Bus back and cooled off a bit before the fire show. We had dinner right next to where they were having the fire show so we got good seats. Great entertainment.
A heron flying by
The mangroves at the end of my walk time for a Senior Survivor Challenge
A rickety railroad trestle
A bamboo disaster
I made ti to another lagoon
Horton hears a hoo!
The lone mangrove
Looking back at the bungalows with kayaker
Plover over there
The trail is petering out, makes a strong man weak in his sole
An abandoned guard shack
Throwing crumbs off of our balcony
Pipe fish says thanks
If crumbs work, a big heel of bread works better
The Fiji flag. I miss my flag collection
A sculpture or a fern?

Speedy boats
An Island in the distance and a large boat
An outtake from the vows
Purple blue flowers
A Western Wattled Honeyeater eating honey
We jump on the Bula bus
Cooling off and showering we see a white faced heron escaping a swooping incident
A weavers nest
Lighting the ceremonial fires
It is a long day already
Soon to be full
Practice makes perfect
Each of the performers dropped their baton during the show
We just had dinner at this restaurant
Still too light for a fireshow
Dancing before the fire show starts
It is still pretty light out
A couple of easy dances to start
The fire dancing begins
Getting dark enough to light the torches
Two types of fire, balls of fire on strings and the fiery batons
Fire everywhere!
They whole group join in
Very entertaining
While others were still spinning the batons and balls of fire a huge ball was lit
These flames were 20 feet tall
Wear a hair net for this trick
And than it was all over
Except for the fine sunset
Smooch worthy
