We took another three mile walk today but this time to to the south. The promenade does not extend much further past our starting point but we were still walking along the water. We saw people in the water but they looked cold and next to them were people in jackets. It is probable like it was in Florida where visitors from the north think it is warm and locals think it is chilly. We returned on an inland street and window shopped in a variety of shops and buildings. The most unique are the vending machine shops. Open fronted buildings with a variety of vending machines selling everything from beer to condoms to pregnancy tests. Most every shop closes from 1 to 4 in the afternoon so nearly everything was closed, not a problem, less pressure to buy.
