The ferry to Maiori was much smaller than the one we took to Amalfi. It also runs fewer times during the day so we booked the 10:10 ferry which definitely ate into our leisurely morning routine. It was a bright sunny day with just a touch of a breeze. We arrived at 10:00 and got right onto the ferry. We watched the inevitable stragglers fast walking up to the ferry right up to the departure time. This ferry motored much closer to the shore and we could see the small towns float by. Maiori was the third stop on the route and a good half of the folks disembarked with us. We walked along the beach, found an artsy ceramic shop, turned at the pedestrianized street and wandered some more. We had tried to get some tea at a restaurant but we were off by 20 minutes so after wandering we returned to the restaurant for a delightful lunch. The next segment of the exploration was a walk to Minori.
