14 October 2022 Cape Town: Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

 


Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens specializes in flowers from the Cape Floral Region.  We had an Uber issue on the way in as our driver drove right past the front gate and continued on up the mountain.  We told him to stop and turn around and after a bit of convincing he retraced his path and got us to the front gate.  It was a very windy day and the blustery conditions kept us moving at a fast pace.  That was a good thing because closing time was getting near.  We headed back before the rush hour kicked in
