24 October 2022 Darwin Australia Travel Day

It was a whole day of travel.  We had a flight at 11 which means we wanted to be at the airport by 9 which means getting in an uber by 8:30 and so on and so on.  The flight was three hours but we loose an hour and a half to time zones so we landed closer to 5, got our bags and were up in the apartment by 6 PM.  Yes Sir, that was a whole day.  We walked around the marina area and got a bite to eat at a Korean Bakery and restaurant.  It was tasty and we were able to watch some sort of live news-cast over by the waterfront.  There were lights and a gal with a microphone.  We then strolled over to the beach area and sat on a bench for a while soaking up the breeze and watching the squid boats way out to sea.

Cullen Bay

Cullen Bay part 2

We have arrived and there is still sunlight

The view down to the bedrooms

It is quite passible

A deck to look out on Cullen Bay

We have a view of the ocean

Time for a bite to eat

The golden crab and fancy tea service behind the counter

The sun is setting

But our fish and chips have arrived

I got a sampler platter

The sun has set and the clouds to the east are all red and we saw folks paddling a dragon boat

Perhaps the weather reporter?

Walking back we go

The day is done...

and so are we

It has been 141 days since we began our Migration
