The Ortega Fish Shack had a funky cool vibe. We got there early but not early enough to get the window table. We ordered up a gin or two and decided to get all the starters but none of the entrees. We were having so much fun that I only got one picture of the food! Maybe because the dishes were so tasty, maybe because the restaurant was super busy and there were so many distractions, but the night flew by! Luckily we were still able to walk uphill to the apartment.
Not much from the sidewalk
But some new Gin for us!
Guess which one we were: early or late?
Every inch of wall was covered
The ceiling was curved!
Paddles and colored glass windows
Mismatched tiles on the floors
Enough to make you dizzy
Enough Gin to swim in!
A duck liver pate and a a smoked fish dip, superb!
The sign on the men's door
Dame Kira Ti Kanawa a New Zealand Opera Star
Dapper blue footed boobie
Rock Lobster, down down down...B-52's
Gonna wash that guy right out of my life
PS...the beets were great
Really GREAT!
