22 January 2023 Kaikoura: A Long Walk to the Store

We plotted the trip and passed this cool library.  The walk to the store was supposed to be 35 minutes but it seemed much longer.  I opened up the Uber app and plotted a trip.  It said $10 so we thought we would get a good walk in and then uber home.  We passed shops, restaurants, gardens, old cars and little parks.  Once we finally got to the store we knew it was going t be too far to walk back while carrying groceries.  So I plotted the trip again in Uber only for Uber to tell me there were no cars available.  Grrrr.  I called Dave the taxi guy and he was outside waiting for us when we finished our shopping.  That was a life saver!
