Our AirBnB is located next to the restaurant "Wildfire" and we have been enjoying the scent of cooked meats for days now. The smell was working nonstop on our subconscious telling us that we need to eat more meat. We thought we were going in for a quick hamburger but since it was Saturday they were only serving the all you can eat meat menu. We looked at each other doubting if this was what we should do but the smell was so good! Needless to say we took our seats and let the chow down begin. Leslie put in a good effort but she had to bow out after an hour. I kept on going so I could try all of what was offered. That means I had to keep eating after the pork, the sausages, the chicken thighs, the beef sirloin, the lamb, and the beef rump. I still wanted to try the calamari, them green lipped mussels, the mushroom pasta. Once that was done, so was I. After that we needed to take a walk so we went back to the apartment to get our sunglasses and then walked around the Princess Wharf. That worked so we kept on going past the Maritime Museum, over a pedestrian drawbridge, and to a new part of Auckland. There were lots of bars and restaurants and people to fill all these places. We kept on walking to the Silo Marina, named for all the silos still on this location. Here we saw the super yachts! Oh my!
I am foolishly wearing a white shirt
