We were pleased to see that there was a festival going on. As we rolled out bags tot he Harbor View Hotel we heard a band and smelled the carnival food of the vendors. Picton is a small town nestled in amongst the mountains. We got into the hotel fairly easy and immediately went out for some dinner. A pair of wood fired pizzas and a salad was just what some hungry folks needed. We walked back down to the harbor and listened to the band a bit. As soon as the sun went behind the hill the temperatures dropped and all the families packed up and left.
