21 January 2023 Picton New Zealand a Pretty Town

We were pleased to see that there was a festival going on.  As we rolled out bags tot he Harbor View Hotel we heard a band and smelled the carnival food of the vendors.  Picton is a small town nestled in amongst the mountains.  We got into the hotel fairly easy and immediately went out for some dinner.  A pair of wood fired pizzas and a salad was just what some hungry folks needed.  We walked back down to the harbor and listened to the band a bit.  As soon as the sun went behind the hill the temperatures dropped and all the families packed up and left.

She front desk told us that this was their best view and it is all ours!

There is a notional egg shortage so I bought Quiche instead of  eggs thinking it would transport easier
